CAMP OVERVIEW

Located in the octagon pavilion on the Redondo Beach Pier, our Skate Camp offers an amazing location to either learn to skateboard or take your skills to the next level.  Ramps and rails are setup daily in different configurations to allow instructional and fun opportunities for campers of all abilities.  Keep scrolling to learn more and register online!

Head Coach | Redondo Beach

Coach Chris is a South Bay native and Mira Costa High School graduate. Chris has been skating for 20 years and teaching for 8, 5 of those years with us at PCH Skate Camps. Chris is a very patient teacher and loves working with kids. He’s especially great with the little ones. Chris runs our Redondo Beach Summer Skate Camp and is available to teach Private Lessons and Birthday Parties.

Safety

  • Coach Ratio: 1:6
  • All Coaches: CPR & First-Aid Certified and Background Checked
  • Pads: Campers are required to wear a helmet, elbow and knee pads at all times. Wrist-guards strongly encouraged.
  • Location: Camp is held in an enclosed area, flat, public area with restrooms on-site
  • Sunscreen: Sunscreen reapplication breaks are scheduled multiple times throughout the day. Shade tents are provided for full day campers to escape sun exposure.

  • Pads: Helmet, Knee & Elbow Pads (wrist guards recommended)
  • Closed Toe Shoes
  • Skateboard or Scooter
  • Sunscreen
  • Snacks & Water
  • Lunch (9AM-2PM campers only)

Camp is held in the octagon pavilion located just below Kincaid’s at the base of the Redondo Beach Pier, right next to the “Fun Factory”. The easiest way to get there is through the parking structure on Torrance Blvd.. Once you enter the parking structure, stay on the lower level and head to the opposite end of the parking lot (as far north in the lot as you can go).  You will see the Octagon and our tents and ramps setup just below you.
