PCH Skate Camps offers youth Skateboard programs in the South Bay, Los Angeles, for boys and girls of all ages and abilities.  We offer a variety of Skate programs, including year-round Camps, After School Classes, Private Lessons, and Birthday Parties. Our program structure was designed by local educators to be inclusive, fun and, most importantly, safe for all of our participants and our programs are taught by experienced skateboarders, all of whom are CPR and First-Aid certified.  2017 will be our 8th year operating our skate programs in the South Bay.  PCH Skate Camps is a sister brand to BeachSports, which has been operating Beach Activity, Surf, Volleyball and Jr. Lifeguard Camps in the South Bay and Orange County since 1995.  We are very proud of the programs we offer and we’re confident you won’t find a better camp experience anywhere in the LA area.

Our Coaches

Our Coaches are what separate our skateboard program from the others.  Our Head Coaches are expert skateboarders with years of teaching experience.  They have a true passion for the sport and love sharing that passion with our participants.

Coach Cameron

Coach Cameron

Head Coach | Manhattan Beach

Coach Cameron is 27 years old and recently moved to the South Bay from Park City, Utah.  He has been skateboarding for 17 years, coaching for 10, and he was the Head Coach of our Hermosa Camp in 2019. Outside of skateboarding, he’s an incredible snowboarder and loves to surf and cycle. As a coach, his greatest strength is his ability to inspire kids to get out of their comfort zones and accomplish things they never thought possible. We are stoked to have Coach Cameron at our Manhattan Beach camp this summer!
“The most important life lesson skateboarding has taught me is Perseverance: The continued effort to do or achieve something incredible despite difficulties, failures and oppositions.” – Coach Cameron

Coach Chris

Coach Chris is a South Bay native and Mira Costa High School graduate.  Chris has been skating for 20 years and teaching for 8, 5 of those years with us at PCH Skate Camps.  Chris is a very patient teacher and loves working with kids.  He’s especially great with the little ones.  Chris runs our Redondo Beach Summer Skate Camp and is available to teach Private Lessons and Birthday Parties.

“I love to teach because there is nothing better than seeing the joy on a child’s face after they’ve accomplished something they thought they never could.” – Coach Chris

Coronavirus UpdateWe're Committed to the Safety of Our Community

BeachSports & PCH Skate Camp have been closely monitoring and complying with all state and local regulations and mandates regarding the Coronavirus/COVID-19. Our highest priority continues to be the health and well-being of everyone in our community.
Although we have been able to provide safe, fun and responsible outdoor activities through our BeachSports programs the past several months, we have determined that it is not possible to provide quality group skateboard instruction while also adhering to safe social distancing guidelines.

Safety must be the focus in beginner skateboard instruction due to the inherent risks of the sport and providing safe instruction requires face-to-face, hands-on instruction, which our instructors excel at. Unfortunately, it is impossible to provide the quality instruction we pride ourselves on while still adhering to safe social distancing protocols.

At this time, we are not offering group skate classes or camps, however, we are available for private parties and small group lessons. Click Here to visit our Private Instruction page.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions and thank you for your understanding.  We look forward to skating with you again soon!
